  • This compact trip packs a lot in. It’s one of the shortest trips we run in our Original style, perfect for those with very little time and a desire to do the most with it.
  • The tour mainly revolves around Sri Lanka hill country city of Kandy. You will be making frequent stops during the trip from Colombo to Kandy.
  • Sri Lanka can get extremely hot in the summer. While we aim to do our walking tours and city tours when the heat is low (in the morning and evening), there are instances that we have to do them during mid-day,  remember to keep water on you and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a long-sleeved shirt, and anything else that will protect you from the sun.
  • Part of travelling with Seerendipity respecting local cultures and sensibilities. That way you get the most out of your interactions with local people and environments. We visit a number of temples on this trip and to enter them you must have clothes that cover to wrists and below the knee. 1. :

Overall experience is fantastic, we loved the Kandy trip because Kandy was beautiful, and enjoyed the stops at Pinnawala, tooth temple and Royal botanical garden. Saman was our driver/guide and he was a very caring guide. He took us to every place and explained to us all activities and answered all our questions without any hesitation. Very well organised trip with a comfortable sedan.

  2. :

It was a nice trip and kids loved the trip a lot. It offers many activities that attract the kids such as visiting elephants park, playing in the botanical garden etc. Guide was very good and friendly.

Tour is good but keep in mind that the entrance fees are not included in the price.

  4. :

It was a great plan for a family with small kids. A lot of travel but still kids loved it because of Elepehnat park, botanical garden.

  6. :

This is the second trip we booked with Seerendipity. Earlier we visited Sigiriya and Dambulla with seerendipity and it was a fantastic tour with them. We requested for the same/driver guide Silva and the comfortable sedan we had on our first trip. Seerendipity provided a superb service by allocating the same drive/guide and vehicle for the trip. Thank you Seerendipity!

  7. :

Gamini was our driver/guide and he was a very caring and friendly guy and also very good at his job. We are very happy with his service and knowledge, he spoke superb English. The trip was very interesting with the elephant park, Peradeniya garden (with the orchid house), Tooth temple and a visit to tea garden as a compliment.

  8. :

Full day of activities. The best way to see Kandy if you have limited time.

  9. :

We had no idea what we had to wear on the visit to the temple (tooth temple) and when we came to the temple then we got to know that we had to stick to a dress code (long trouser and upper part of the dress covering shoulders). Fortunately our driver/guide Shantha helped us to rent a dress for the temple visit.

  10. :

Our guide/driver was very attentive, calm and carefully drove on the chaotic roads, great felt very safe with him.

  11. :

Very comfortable journey in a modern sedan and a nice, friendly guide. The days is packed with many interesting places and activities.

  17. :

  18. :

We visited the temple during the midday and it was very crowded.

  19. :

We loved the trip but not the walk in the city because it was a mid-day and hot and sweating.

  20. :

Dumindu had taken care of us when we visited Kandy and other places on the way. We really enjoyed the trip and had a lot of fun with. But we did not like much was the spice garden, where they tried to sell us lot of stuff.

  21. :

Gihan is one of the finest guides I’ve travelled. He always had a smile on his face and was very flexible in the schedules. He always gave us plenty of time to enjoy the tourist attractions. We stopped in between our journey for refreshments and our guide was fully supportive. A wonderful citizen of Sri Lanka.

  22. :

Very professional, friendly and personalized service. The local guide was very knowledgeable about tourist spots and give him a 10.
