Itineraries

Day 1

Colombo / Kandy

after breakfast, you will leave for Kandy. En-route visit an elephant orphanage and spice gardens. In case you are coming from the airport, you will be greeted by Seerendipity tours reparative and introduced to the Driver/Guide.

ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE

Elephant orphanage of Pinnawala provides a safe place for sick, wounded and orphan elephants found in the jungle. Elephants at the orphanage have a well maintained routine life and visitors allowed to see these jumbos in freedom, Next, Spice gardens.

SPICE GARDEN

Spices are a very valuable commodity in the country and exported to many countries since very early days. Here you can see a large number of spices in their natural habitat. See the various products such as Ayurveda medicine prepared using various spices. Here you can buy unblended spices and Ayurveda products for very affordable prices. Next, proceed to Kandy.

KANDY

Kandy is a beautiful city with colonial charm. Kandy is the cultural centre of Sri Lanka, where the culture and tradition is still well maintained. Kandy was an important seat of administration during the British colonial ear. British-Ceylon administrators have added much colonial styled building to the city.

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya/ Ella

Have a leisurely breakfast and then journey to ella En-route visit Botanical garden.

BOTANICAL GADEN PERADENIYA

En-route Bandarawela you will make a stop at Peradeniya botanical garden, which is the most beautiful botanical garden in the country. it was founded by the Kandyan kings in the 16th century. Later it was developed to a botanical garden by British colonial administrators of Ceylon.

NUWARA ELIYA

Nuwara Eliya is the most popular hill country holiday destination in the country. It was developed as a place for a holiday during the British colonial era. Being a city well above 1800 meters from the sea level. It has a healing climate and temperature is recorded around 15C° at most of the time in the year. The city is surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. You can expect very scenic drive from Kandy and plenty awe-inspiring sceneries are awaiting the travellers

TEA FACTORY

Visit a tea factory and Tea estate, where you are allowed take a look into the tea production at the factory. Don’t forget to sip a cup of fresh Ceylon tea.

Ella / Yala

After breakfast leave for Yala, Optional visit to Kataragama temple.

YALA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you leave for safari destination Yala. The journey will take about 4 hours from Ella to the Yala: Yala national park is the most popular destination for wildlife observation in the country. Here you can see a large number of animals such as elephants, leopards, bear, deer, peacock, wild boar, buffaloes, crocodile etc.
