.....................End of the trip.....................

  1. :

I chose Seerendipity after considering many tours of other companies. Many other tour operators offer a similar trip package as group tours and the price is the same as of this trip. Since this is my first trip after COVID-19, I did not want to be a CORONA patient and wanted to go for a private. Afterall the price difference between this private trip and group tour with a similar itinerary si not much. Our Guide Gamini was excellent.

  2. :

If you need sunshine, palm trees, encounter wildlife, leopard spotting, coconuts, beaches, trekking, watching birds, friendly people, monkeys, culture, delicious food, coconut alcohol and tea, go to Sri lanka! Totally safe time there thanks to our wonderful driver/guide Kusum. Fantastic trip with good hotels, comfortable vehicle and hassle-free private tour.

Sri Lanka was lockdown for 3 months from March and it is being a few months since the tourist places are opened for travellers. All places have safety protocol implemented but hotels and tourist places are empty.

  3. :

Splendour tour Sri Lanka is a great trip with a mixture of history, culture, relaxation, great scenery and local experiences. I had such a great time and have made memories I will cherish forever. Most tourist sites are still largely vacant and hotels are also still empty.

  4. :

The splendour tour was splendid. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country and the people are very frindly and they know the guest treatments. Splendour tour is a great way to get to know this beautiful country and its friendly people. It packs in touring, historical sites, trekking, villages, hill country and beaches. Just one warning – be prepared for the fact that your face will ache from smiling so much!

  5. :

The local company was recommended by one of our friends, who had done an adventure tour with Seerendipity. But we opted for this 7 days trip with a bit of nature, culture and wildlife. We did not want to get engaged in adventure activities because of our kids. Everything was a memorable private trip for our family.

  6. :

Visiting cultural monuments, wildlife parks and trekking to the waterfall, nice trip

  7. :

    Excellent tour

  22. :

    Thoroughly enjoyed the trip

  23. :

An excellent all round exposure to Sri Lankan culture, its people, animals and the varied countryside. Our wonderful guide saman was good natured ,fun, caring and so so generous and passionate with his knowledge and passion for his country.

  24. :

It is a pity we missed the hill country train trip because we did not have time. We book a trip to Sri Lanka in the near future to do the train trip with Seerendipity. Excellent trip with interesting activities and good hotel. Our guide Silva was a very good and good driver.

  25. :

Sri Lankan splendour was an amazing experience, our guide Shimantha was the most knowledgeable and interesting person that certainly made our trip. 26. :

This trip had some amazing sights, which we were privileged to experience. Sri Lankan culture is so diverse and very interesting. We appreciated everything we seen and did,

  27. :

At Elephant hotel Sigiriya, we lost our money. It was stolen from the safety deposit box and hotel did not take any action in that regards. However, the local tour operator directed us to the tourist police. The police investigated the complaint promptly and ordered the hotel to refund our money. Our driver/Guide Ruwa was very helpful and he was al the time with us until the entire issue was solved, fantastic service.

  28. :

I have always been apprehensive about travelling alone but with Serendipity it is made super easy. You get to see so much in a short space of time. Highly recommended

You travel with a fun like minded bunch of people to learn and get up close and personal with local people doing their local things. I’ve travelled alone and with my daughter and love the authenticity of Seerendipity.

  31. :

The itinerary was good but our guide was not as good as expected

  32. :

An excellent trip for a first-time visitor, everything is perfectly organized from the arrival to the departure.

  33. :

According to the itinerary, we had to get up early morning every day because the itinerary is fully packed, however, we changed the itinerary our own, instead of giving priority to visit places we opted to have some leisure, and not visited a few places along the way. But our driver/guide refused to pay back what they have a charged us for those missing sites from us.

    • :

Your guide had done the right thing because the entrance fees pertaining to sites to be visited on the trip is already paid.

  34. :

It was raining a lot during the trip

    • :

      Sorry to hear that

    • :

I’m sorry to hear that you had bad weather during the trip.

Ancient culture, modern culture, wildlife on your doorstep much of the time, great food always ‘medium’ spiced! Overall a great trip I can’t recommend it highly enough.

  74. :

Splendour Sri Lanka is an excellent tour, taking in multiple UNESCO listed heritage sites. There may also be an opportunity to see elephants and leopards. Our tour leader, Sam made it an extra special trip, thank you.

Very good company and very flexible, everything perfectly organized

  76. :

Really enjoyed the splendour tour. Saman was the driver/guide of our private tour and I must say he was a perfect driver with ample knowledge on this country. He was a passionate ambassador for Sri Lanka- he was interesting, informative, fun, patient and went out of his way to ensure it was a fascinating trip. 77. :

Very good trip for a first timer in Sri Lanka

  78. :

We had a nice trip and our guide was fantastic. The only problem was the sedan that we were travelling by giving some problems. Air-condition of the car stopped and we had to travel to the beach without AC.

  79. :

Good trip giving you a complete picture of Sri Lanka.

  80. :

Spotting leopard was my expectations but missed it, however, the best part of the tour for me was the jeep safari, I never such a large number of wild animals in a safari. We had seen all the animals except leopard.

Excellent driver/guide with super, duper service. Good hotels, vehicle and delicious food.

  84. :

This trip was fantastic. Gayan was an excellent driver/guide. If you’re considering it, do it.

  85. :

Our trip to Sri Lanka was much, much more than we ever expected! Beautiful people, amazing places and the food is a curry lovers dream. I can’t recommend our trip enough!

  86. :

I would highly recommend this trip. Our guide, Nandana was excellent. Most of the days were jam packed but still a little bit of down time towards the end. I felt like we got to experience some of the true culture but also see the important tourist bits. Accommodation was better than expected.

  87. :

Good trip but a lot of travelling

  88. :

Knowledgeable guide and he always showed his maturity with our private group. Malan showed us why he loved his pretty homeland, shepherding us on an ambitious itinerary full of highlights from ancient ruins to tea plantation hikes, elephant sightings and world-class whale-watching. An informative, varied and fun trip accented by frequent culinary delights. The driver of the coach Thisera did a marvellous job and his assistance Ruwa was very friendly and kept the coat very clean every day.

  89. :

Very nice and knowledgable driver/guide with heaps of local knowledge. The places were interesting and very dicers from historical monuments to mountains to beaches and everything very well planned. I had a wonderful time.

  90. :

Enjoyed the splendour tour a lot

  91. :

Not enough leisure on the trip.

  92. :

    Fantastic trip

  93. :

A wonderful Sri Lanka trip, well planned. So good to have a tour guide, felt safe.

  94. :

Seven jam-packed days with access to beaten track tourist spots. Fantastic adventure through four Indian cities. My favourite was southern Sri Lanka, where you get miles of miles pristine beaches. Nice hotels, good food, good vehicle and friendly guide/driver. Highly recommend!

  95. :

Yala safari was the best part of our trip. We could see 3 leopards on a huge boulder (parents and a cub).

  96. :

A lot of travelling within 7 days, there should be more rest long the way

  97. :

The beaches are fantastic and it is a pity that we did not have much time to rest on the beach. I definitely come back and next time will lie down on the beach for a week. Thushan was our driver/guide he was fantastic.

  98. :

One of my favourite trips. A lovely country with beautiful people. Loved the variety of destinations this trip covered. Never a dull moment with a great mix of activities. But travelled a lot, if we knew that we had to travel that much it could have been better, overall the tour is good.

  99. :

We had many chances to interact with local people on the trip. E.g the village tour Sigiriya is organized by the people in teh village and best way to see the local life.

  100. :

Perfect trip to showcase the spectacular sights, culture, food and people of Sri Lanka. I have come away with some amazing memories.

  101. :

Splendour tour of Srilanka is a fantastic way to get an insight into the culture, wildlife, nature and history of Sri Lanka. I now know more about the people of Sri Lanka having walked through laid-back villages in the remote areas, even we had a tea with a local family thanks to our guide Chami.

  102. :

Very well organised. Food really tasty. Our driver/guide Sumal was brilliant. Spoke good English and kept us close to our son and sister so we felt we did it all together. Thanks for the brilliant trip.

  103. :

Splendour tour is a brilliant trip; you get to experience a range of lush green environments, meet the locals and taste a variety of delicious foods. Our driver/guide Kumar was fantastic fun guy and very helpful. We were regularly surprised by special activities and wonderful treats to taste. The tea plantation walks were a highlight as were the beautiful beaches.

  104. :

We had to pay to get a seat in order to watch the ESALA procession. It could have been better if we knew it before.

  105. :

    Happy with the trip

  106. :

Splendour Sri Lanka is a great itinerary for those who have a relatively short time but want to see most of the country. It is tiring (particularly first half) but it is worth it. Our guide, Malan, was amazing, and he drives very carefully. In a country that has been through some tough times, I always felt safe through the trip and cannot recommend highly enough.

  107. :

A fantastic experience from start to finish. well organised private tour. Fro the pick from the airport to the departure transfer to the airport everything was in a private car. The trip includes all the major tourist hotspots and very well planned trip.

  108. :

Undoubtedly the splendour tour is one of the best ways to see Sri Lanka. This is an unspoilt and beautiful country and culture that we should all take time to appreciate. And the food – YUM!! Just do it.

  109. :

The trip was amazingly well organised and included lots of great activities in a short space of time and gave us a great insight into Sri Lanka’s history, wildlife and culture. One of our friends introduced the tour and local company, however, we were a bit hesitant to book the trip because we did not know about seerendipity tours. Later we came to know that they are one of the best tour companies on the island. Sam our tour leader was exceptional his enthusiasm and knowledge was second none!

  110. :

What a great trip! Keep coming to Sri Lanka everyone, Seerendipity will look after you well. They always had our safety as their first priority and provided us with a fantastic variety of experiences. We had a great time with such a knowledgeable guide to show us this wonderful country.

  111. :

Sri Lankan splendour is wonderful exposure to Sri Lankan history, agriculture, climate, culture and and food. Experiencing hundreds of elephants in their natural environment may have been one of the highlights- or perhaps it was visiting the herb and spice garden to learn about Ayurvedic Medicine. The fabulous food, the friendly locals, the tea plantations, the UNESCO World Heritage sites, eating local food and sharing time with ou own family made for a memorable holiday.

  112. :

We had pre-booked splendour tour Sri Lanka for 1 week after the April 21 bombings, and minor adjustments to our itinerary, along with the professionalism of our leader, Gihan, ensured that at no time did we feel unsafe. our driver/guide was very enthusiastic and humour allowed us to have a comprehensive and thoroughly enjoyable Sri Lankan experience

  113. :

  115. :

The tour worth every penny because you visit many interesting places within a short period of time

  116. :

I have taken many group trips to many places around the world and this is my first private tour with my wife. It really opened my eyes to how much comfortable to have a private tour. It was fantastic when somebody is showing you their country. We ate in places I would’ve never gotten to, tried amazing local delicacies. Brilliant!

  117. :

A last minute booking to Sri Lanka proved to be an excellent choice. A lovely country, friendly people and exceptional experiences. The leader, Saman and fellow travellers contributed to a very memorable holiday.

  118. :

The ideal getaway showcasing the best of Sri Lanka’s built and natural worlds. The highlights reel encompasses the whole trip: elephants, hill country hiking, ancient ruins, delicious food (vegetarian-friendly!) and our kind, generous tour leader shimatha.

  119. :

We did not like the way it was implemented by our driver/guide. He was trying to charge us for the cultural show of Kandy despite that it was part of the tour itinerary.

  120. :

I would highly recommend Sri Lanka as a destination for your next trip. The people are friendly, the food delicious, wildlife amazing and the variety of the itinerary was great. So much to do and see. It’s a beautiful country.

  121. :

We were provided with guides whenever we came to tourist places and they are so-called site guide (assigned to explain about particular tourist site). The guide in Sigiriya was good but he was pushy and urging us to buy some souvenir from one of his friends.

  122. :

Really loved splendour Sri Lanka tour. It was the perfect mix of seeing and doing. We loved the cultural sites, wildlife reserve, botanical garden, beaches, mountains. Also climbing Sigiriya was a fabulous experience – well worth the early morning rise. Seeing the elephants in the wild was also a highlight. Our guide, Malan, was so knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend this tour!

  123. :

LOVED THIS TRIP! Would recommend!! We saw so much of Sri Lanka. A mix of city, beach, rural and towns. We ate the most incredible meals, saw the most beautiful smiles and Milan our driver/guide drove a comfortable sedan and he was the best tour guide! Caring, funny and thoughtful.

  124. :

Splendour tour was fantastic and exceeded my expectations, the many experiences we had was just amazing. Our guide was the best I have ever, ever had on a trip. I would definitely tell my friends to get our guide if they intend to go to Sri Lanka.

  130. :

I thoroughly recommend splendour tour. A great mix of culture, history, magnificent scenery, varied activities and the opportunity to meet the friendly local people. Our guide was excellent and ensured we got the most out of this wonderful private trip.

  131. :

The splendour Sri Lanka trip gave a great snapshot of how beautiful Sri Lanka is. We trekked through archaeological sites, tea gardens, botanical gardens, cycled ruins, met locals, ate so much amazing food, saw a huge herd of elephants on a wildlife jeep safari, relaxed on the beach, and visited beautiful Stupa’s, Buddha’s and temples, and so much more. I had an amazing time and met some lovely people. If you haven’t been to Sri Lanka before, add it to your holiday wish list.

  132. :

Fabulous trip with a non stop itinerary making sure you visit all the highlights of Sri Lanka. The contrast between the temples, the tea plantations and the trekking to the waves on the west coast made for a fantastic time!

  133. :

Beautiful country, beautiful people. I felt extremely safe the whole time. Please don’t let what has happened stop you from going. It’s a magical place.

  134. :

This trip is a great introduction to visiting the country for the first time. Friendly people, great food and stunning sights, from tea plantations to beach sunsets (no filter needed). Our guide was fantastic, unfortunately, I don’t remember his name. I just returned from Sri Lanka a couple of days ago, and highly recommend.

  135. :

Incredible Sri Lanka trip, I have been a travel agent for many years and have done other tours, but now I understand why this local company is so good. It has been an amazing experience and would recommend to everyone to book with seerendipity in general.

  138. :

Thoroughly enjoyed 7 days tour. It is hard to believe that this 7 days tour could offer this much of activities on a 7 days trip with time spent on travelling. The trip is properly planned, you simply can’t do it without experience. Great accommodation, activities and a wonderful cultural experience.

  139. :

The splendour Sri Lanka tour was much more than I expected – the accommodation, tour guide, food, and of course, the beautiful country.

  146. :

Of all the tours I’ve done, Splendour tour Sri Lanka was the best by far. Seerendipity did an amazing job by organizing this memorable trip for us. If you book this tour and manage to get Malan as your driver/guide you will have struck gold – he’s half the reason the tour was so good. The food was awesome, local people so friendly and Sigiriya – OMG it’s right up there with Machu Picchu and Uluru. Sir Lanka – loved it.
