    2 nights 3 days package Colombo-south coast, wildlife and gem pit

    Day :1 The tour begins in Colombo, but as it’s private, you can choose where to begin. The trip can begin in Negombo, Colombo, or any of the western coast’s beach towns. After leaving Colombo, your first destination will be the Madu River estuary, where you’ll take a boat excursion for two hours. Visit the sea turtle conservation project in Sri Lanka after seeing the Madu River estuary, where you may see and learn about five different endangered sea turtle species. After that, go to Hikkaduwa. You will arrive at Hikkaduwa in time for lunch after you’ve completed the aforementioned three excursions. Later in the day, take a stroll through the streets of Galle to take in the city’s stunning architecture.

    You will leave Colombo for Kandy on the first day of the trip. There are two significant stops on the way to Kandy: the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Kandy Spice Garden. Our best guess is that you’ll make it to Kandy in time for lunch. From Colombo to Kandy is a four-hour drive, and you can expect to spend an additional hour at each stop along the way.

    You can stop for lunch on the way if you like, or wait until you’ve checked into your hotel and have lunch there. Lunch is not included in the schedule, so feel free to make your own arrangements.

    Relax in the hotel’s pool before the afternoon’s second half begins at 05:00. Your hotel is conveniently placed near the centre of town, so you can easily take a stroll there. See the Kandyan cultural show and the temple housing the tooth relic in the afternoon.
    Staying the Night in Kandy

    Day 2: The journey starts at 8.00 AM after the breakfast, and you will be headed to hill country holiday resort, Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is well known as a health resort in Sri Lanka. It takes around an hour to drive from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, and the city is located at an elevation of 1800 metres above sea level. Today, however, your journey to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy will be punctuated by several stops.

    The first stop will be to Peradeniya, Sri Lanka’s most popular and largest botanical garden. A tea factory and a cup of CEYLON Tea await us in Pussellawa, our second stop along the road.

    We only have two stops planned between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, but I have no doubt that you will make a few more along the way. Sri Lanka’s hill country is a must-visit because of its magnificent scenery. Along the way, you won’t be able to miss sights like well-kept tea gardens, mountains topped with greenery, waterfalls, woods, rice terraces, glistening reservoirs, and ancient temples. Explore the beautiful Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, the Nuwara Eliya Golf Course, and the grand Theodore-style palaces commissioned by wealthy British planters in the 18th century during an afternoon stroll.

    Staying in Nuwara Eliya for the Night

    Day 3: Get on the road to Colombo via Kitulgala after breakfast. Kitulgala is a great site to get your heart racing because of its rugged landscape, green-capped mountains, waterfalls, rivers, and streams. You’ll travel through scenic mountain passes and valleys surrounded by tea plantations. Devon Fall and St. Clair’s Falls are two of the waterfalls your guide may want to visit en route. Leave Kitulgala after lunch and head to Colombo.

The first big attraction of your three-day tour of Sri Lanka is Anuradhapura, the country’s oldest city. Anuradhapura, a city from antiquity, is littered with hundreds of ruins. In its prime, the ancient metropolis is thought to have covered more than 40 square km. Many historic sites have been partially destroyed or damaged by modern day vandals, relic hunters, or mother nature.
    After lunch, we’ll begin our three-hour guided tour of Anuradhapura. The city tour is a hop-on, hop-off affair, and it will take you to a number of important historical sites like the Ruwanweli stupa, Sri Maha Bodhi, Thuparama, Jetawanrama, Twin Pond, and many others.
    Overnight stay in Sigiriya

    Day 3: Leave for Sigiriya after breakfast and walk the rock stronghold for two hours. Then, continue on to Polonnaruwa, another ancient city that flourished in the 10th and 11th centuries. There are numerous historic Buddhist and Hindu temples, gardens, palaces, lakes, and Buddha statues hidden away in Polonnaruwa.     A visit to the Tooth Relic Temple, the heart of Kandy, the Kandy View Point, the Tea Garden, the Gem Museum, and the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens takes up about 3 hours of the Kandy City Tour.
